UK Player Benny Snell, Jr. Named SEC Freshman of the Week 10/31/16

  • Rushed 38 times for a UK freshman record 192 yards and two touchdowns in Kentucky's 35-21 win at Missouri.
  • In addition to being the UK freshman record, 192 yards is one of the top 10 rushing performances in UK history.
  • Has eight rushing TDs this season, breaking Randall Cobb's UK freshman record of seven rushing TDs (2008).
  • Made a 23-yard run to set up his own 1-yard TD plunge in the second quarter. • Gave UK an insurmountable 35-7 lead with an 18-yard TD run on the opening play of the fourth quarter.
  • Accounted for nine first downs during the game in addition to his two TDs.
  • It is his third 100-yard game of the season, most for a Wildcat freshman in 20 years.
