UK Player De'Aaron Fox Named SEC Freshman of the Week 1/9/17

It feels like he's done this before ... Oh wait, he has. Its De'Aaron's fourth SEC Freshman of the Week award this season.

Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox

Fox, a 6-foot-3, 187-pound guard from Houston, Texas, averaged 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, six assists and 1.5 steals in leading the Wildcats to wins over Texas A&M and Arkansas. Fox shot 60 percent (15-of-25) from the field and 80 percent (12-of-15) from the free throw stripe. He opened the week with 15 points six assists and five rebounds against Texas A&M. Fox poured in a career-high 27 points on an efficient day from the field against the Razorbacks. He made 10-of-16 field goals and all seven of his free throw attempts against Arkansas. He has posted 10 games with six or more assists, including each of the last three - all SEC contests.
